Family Resort Del Mar - Banjole

Nice room and lovely view.Lots of older children/teenagers that my childre could hang out with. Good quality of the food in the restaurant. Plenty of sunbeds for everyone, and nice touch with the pool bar (not beach bar...).

The staff were ok, but the ambience and feel-good factor were lacking. Lot of repetitive music in the evenings that were loud and kept on going throughout the evening. Strange atmosphere there - a mix of families from all over that didn't quit fit together. Very long and unnecessary way to the pool area. Could not put the restaurant bill on the room because it is not owned by the hotel. No nice beaces close by - had to drive.

The room was separate, and we had a NICE view of the sea.

The place has an identity crisis. For a hotel, it doesn't offer services (no cleaning, no towel change, etc). For an apartment, it's not well equipped (no microwave, no toaster) and offers no privacy. For a resort, it doesn't have facilities or entertainment. (Besides the pool which doesn't allow floaties, jumping, etc, there is nothing to do). The ac is set so high that it doesn't cool the room off at all. The pool water is not clean, it's full of hair. Beware of "park view" - there is no park. Our room faced the parking lot and was on eye level with a car parked in from of our balcony. The hotel does not have a beach, the nearest one is about 700 M. The "fishing village" is a group of houses with nothing to do in.

Harbour view from your window and from pool, beach nearby, 2 markets at walking distance. Rooms were good size and clean. Every 2 evenings there is a music band with synthesizer at hotel, not so good, but good for atmosphere.

The last bus from Pula to Banjole leaves around 20 pm, so you're stuck there when you don't have a rental car. It would have been nicer if there were more seats at the swimmingpool.

The value for money was excellent. Even though my friends and I were backpacking around Europe, we easily afforded a 4-night stay at the hotel in an E-type apartment with a view of the bay. Air-con was good, kitchen was decently equipped. There were no cleaning services throughout our stay, but we knew that before our arrival. The bathrooms were very good, and the pool was great. In walking distance from sports facilities, beaches, a bus stop and a supermarket.

The reasonably expensive bike rentals beside the hotel, the price of breakfast buffet (EUR 8.-), the cleanliness of the pool (nothing horrible, but could have been a bit cleaner..)

We got a room with a bathtub.

Had a perfect stay for 1 night, everything was really good. The room was brand-new and bright with 2 bathrooms and the laundry facilities as expected...

Nice clean apartment, beautiful views from balcony over the sea. Restaurant was good and reasonably priced.

Very difficult to get anywhere without a car which isn't mentioned. Staff unhelpful with transport queries and looked at us as if we were stupid for not having a car. There was also no leaflets or information in English.

Perfect spot for family fun!

The beach area was so chill, and we loved the pedalos with the slides. The two-bedroom apartment worked well for our fam, even tho it felt a bit cramped. The restaurant had some tasty meals too, especially the dinner! Just wish there were more shower options for us all.

The staff were very helpful and friendly.

I booked a room with two bedrooms and two bathrooms with an ocean view. However when we arrived we were given a room with only one bathroom and no ocean view and it appeared the room wasn't finished being renovated. As I have booked this room in March from Canada I was very disappointed when I arrived with my Croatian daughter and son-in-law as we were celebrating their wedding,

Family resort del mar is a great spot if you're looking to explore the area. There are several beaches nearby, and we loved the one shaded by pines. The staff was friendly, and having a well-equipped kitchen made self-catering easy. The pool area was lovely too, especially with the free sunbeds.

Good sea view, big pool and a nice room. Excellent service at the restaurant.

Being a 4 star hotel it was lack of service like laundry (in the city, 7 km away) and ironing. The beach is rocky.

The venue is clean, with great and awesome location close to the restaurants in the resort, Banjole, outside of Pula and the cocktail bar. The personnel is kind and nice. Think that this well-kept and nice hotel is beyond compare, thoroughly enjoyed it.
